Southern Railway Recruitment for ITI in Signal Diesel Loco 2016
Latest Railway Recruitment notification from Indian Southern Railway or SR stated that almost 144 ITI candidates will be recruited as apprentice in different sector. Indian Rail is a one of the world’s largest employer.
Details of the post and vacancy:
1) Signal &Telecommunication / Workshop – 30.
2) Diesel Loco Shed / Erode under Salem Division – 50.
3) Electric loco Shed (Rolling stock)/ Erode under Salem Division – 26.
4) Carriage &Wagon Depot /Erode under Salem Division – 05.
5) Carriage &Wagon Depot / under Palghat Division – 10.
6) Diesel Loco Shed / Ernakulum under Trivandrum Division – 11.
7) Carriage &Wagon Depot / TVC under Trivandrum Division – 12.
Important Dates of Recruitment:
Starting of application form giving – 21-03-2016.
Last date for submitting application form– 22-04-2016.
Educational Qualification Required:
Candidates should possess 10th and ITI certificate in relevant trade. It has been strictly mentioned in their official advt that engineering or diploma or other higher degree candidates can not apply for this post.
Salary:
Statement of monthly salary or pay scale has not been given anywhere, but it has been said that depending on the training period, their stipend will be given.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 15 years.
Upper Limit = 24 years.
Age relaxation for SC/ ST and OBC candidates will be applicable.
Exam Fee:
For General candidates – Rs 100.
SC/ ST Candidates – Nil.
No online form fill up or online payment method like debit credit or internet banking will be accepted. Candidates have to draw postal order in favor of persons mentioned in their notification.
