Based on which model the ‘700 MW Azad Pattan hydel power project’ will be build?
Recently, Pakistan and China signed an agreement for the 700 MW Azad Pattan hydel power project on the Jhelum River in the Sudhoti district of PoK.It is a run-of-the-river project with a reservoir located near Muslimabad village.It will be commissioned by 2024.It will be developed on the ‘Build, Own, Operate, Transfer (BOOT)’ model and will be transferred to the government of Pakistan after 30 years.
